Thousands of students from economically weaker backgrounds are denied education due to systemic failures. Adhikar addresses these issues head-on.

Medical colleges were charging students an additional ₹2–5 lakh under the names of Library Fee, Laboratory Fee, Deposits, and Caution Money. With approximately 6,000 medical seats, this amounted to nearly ₹200 crore.
Through sustained advocacy and legal intervention, Adhikar successfully challenged this practice, resulting in the discontinuation of these unauthorized fees.
Although the state government announced a ₹906 crore scheme for zero tuition fees for girls before elections, only one college implemented it initially.
After Adhikar's intervention through representations and follow-ups, all MBBS and BDS colleges in the state implemented the zero tuition fee scheme for girl students.
The zero tuition fee scheme initially excluded AYUSH colleges, leaving thousands of female students without the benefit.
In 2025, Adhikar launched a fresh advocacy campaign. As a result, nearly 70% of AYUSH colleges implemented the scheme.
BMC-run medical colleges in Mumbai were not extending EBC scholarship benefits to MBBS students.
Adhikar submitted formal representations to DMER. Consequently, DMER issued a uniform fee structure across Maharashtra for MBBS and BDS colleges.
Even government AYUSH colleges were not following prescribed fee guidelines.
Adhikar demanded category-wise fee structures, leading the AYUSH Department to release a standardized fee structure for 35 AYUSH colleges.
A GR dated 06 April 2023 granted orphan students benefits equivalent to Scheduled Castes, but it remained unimplemented.
In May 2025, Adhikar raised the issue. As a result, an official implementation notice was issued on 17 July 2025.
